Peace

This week at Crafty Creations Challenge Blog is a photo inspiration.  I have chosen a Saturated Canary image for this challenge - I just thought she was appropriate for the picture!!

Now, how I see it is the grayish brick and silver on the mirror is the gray background embossing is for the texture of the brick!  The wood is for the window frame on my image and the young girls hair.  The red in the gifts and the green is in the package and outfit!

Now, head on over to Crafty Creations Challenge Blog and show us your interpretation and check out what the design team has come up with!

We have a great sponsor this week!

Our Winner will choose 2 stamps of their choice from In 2 Stamps!

In2stamps is a rubber stamp business started in November 2009 bringing the most adorable stamps illustrated by the finest illustrators around. We just recently introduced 11 new stamps suitable for different occasions.

Happy Christmas!

It's my turn again at Just Some Lines Challenge Blog!  I love it when I get to take "control"! I am happy to show you what I've created with 3 Birds in Winter.  This is the cutest image!  i decided to use my Fiskars punch that has the corner and the straight edge - I bought it on clearance and love it!  I fussy cut my image and glued it on the punched frame on top of another lavender mat!  The yellow bling is the negative from a die cut!  The die cut above is a Sizzix flourish (one of my fav's).  You really should hop on over to the store and check out all the images - Just Some Lines Store.

And....don't forget about the challenge going on right now!!

Noel

When I saw this challenge at Christmas Card Challenge Blog = black and white - I thought ok - but then to make it christmas???  Well, I decided to combine this with another challenge from Paper Pretties with non-customary christmas colors!  So...I have this paper pretties stamp that I won some time ago - I hadn't used it - new rubber - yay me!!  Anyway, I used very little color - just her hair and a tint of blue on her dress - to make it look white (highlights).  I used some glimmer stamp pads to give the black paper some shimmer - I used the shimmer on the borderabilities also on the mat!  So so so happy with the outcome - I hope you enjoy this and I hope you go check out the challenge at Christmas Card Challenge Blog - remember it's

Black and White

You have one week to participate - come on - it's fun and very simple!  Let's make another Christmas Card and submit your project asap!!

Indian Princess

Is she too precious or what??  I know I say that regularly - but she is!!  This was supposed to be a post a while ago - I didn't get it done!  and....as far as I'm concerned - it's too cute not to post!  This is the negative from a cricut frame!  i just love the negatives on these cuts!  I used my Pattie's Creations image for this card and I had some scraps of the glitter paper so I cut some corners with my Stampin up punch!!  That has to be my alltime fav punch!  I use it all the time - yes ALL the time!  Anyway, I colored her with my copics and inked the paper a little and that's it!  The sentiment is a sticker from DCWV Fall pack (from probably 3 years ago)!   I so hope you enjoy - thanks!
