A Gift Box

I so love Tickled Pink Stamps and I loved this challenge - this is a box I cut with my Cricut on Tags, Boxes, etc.  cartridge  I wanted to make something other than a card!  This was cut using a pattern paper and a gingham and a scrap as a mat and then my image cut with my nestabilities - I went simple with a bow on top and on the side!  The cricut cut has holes for a handle like a box so I decided to tie a bow.   I colored her with m Copics of course and added a few little colored bubbles - they were the same color as the box itself and so I thought - that's it!  Fun!  Thanks as usual and I hope you enjoy!

Today & Always

I'm always up for a challenge- I seem to shy away from "black & White" + another color!  I love black, white and red, but everyone does that so....I always try to do a different color.  Last time I did Orange.  This time - green.  I enjoyed doing it - not sure what everyone will think - I do hope you like it - I love the freebie this week!  Head on over to A Day for Daisies and grab this freebie - A Day for Daisies Stamps then head over to their challenge at A Day For Daisies:Challenge.  They also have some great projects from the design team!  That design team is amazing!  Anyway - I had fun making this card.  I went pretty simple and am happy with the outcome!  My sentiment is from Stamping Ups "Heard from the Heart"! We have a monthly stamp club so if you need a demonstrator- I got your girl!  Now give it a go!

Anyone who knows me - knows - I don't do mornings!  I'm such a night owl -typical night last night 2am.  I got to sleep in today - decided it was going to be my - "I ain't getting up for nothing mornings"!  So, I got up at 10am - even staying up late - I don't normally do that - Friday I went to bed at 2 am and got up at 8am!  Anyway- on to the card - I so love this image because I so resemble her!  This stamp is available at All That Scraps and this is specifically for her challenge at Wednesday's Challenge.  Head on over there and check out her stuff!  You'll be hooked right away!  Her challenges are a lot of fun also - different!  This week was "use felt"  At first I went, WHAT!  and then thought I can do this!  I cut some felt flowers and leaves with my nestabilities dies and the border is a felt border I won here!!!!  Yay me!  Anyway- I had fun and thank you for keeping it interesting and different!

Another Fav!!!

Ok- you can't tell me you don't just love this guy!  I thought he was perfect for the balloon challenge - so I attached these "freebie" balloons from Stamp Fairy.com.  They have some great freebies and regularly as well.  Anyway, the challenge at Stamp Fairy Challenge is "Balloons and Let's Party".  I decided to combine them - I was going to do the cricut - it just didn't seem to gel!  So....I took another road!  I thought I'd do blues and greens instead on reds and "LOVE IT"!  I also love when I can use my "cheapy" $1 bin ribbon from Michaels!  Here it is in all it's perfection - Bees!!!  So...thanks as usual for stopping by and leave a little lovin!

Bingo!

I just love the game of Bingo - as a matter of fact, we haven't played in quite some time.  In fact, I remember - it was 3 years ago night before Easter at my Mom's house!  We were decorating eggs and I always bring something for the kids to do - Well, Pollycraft Monday Challenge is playing Bingo - I am using their little girl (I never remember the names) and I put a cap on her on a stack of books on a box!  Wow! This image has a cupcake but I cut a diploma out on my cricut and now she's got a diploma instead of a cupcake!  Funny!   I added a few embellies - 3 of which are on the bingo card - button, charm and sparkle/bling!  Pollycraft has some great images - check 'em out here They usually have some freebies - go check 'em out!   They have some really fun and different challenges!  Try 'em out!  Anyway - hope you likey!

Thanks Big Time!

It's still a big Thanks!  I had made these for "stamp" night with the girls!  I cut 12 of 'em.  They assemble and stamp them - I just cut things up and put them in bags for the girls!  This is my project for next week so...I thought - why not bang out the "peachy keen' challenge.  You just gotta love these!  This is the set I won - wide eyed children!   Aren't they ever so cute!  Everytime I get a new one - it's my new favorite!  I'm fickle that way!  I used my doodlecharms cartridge to cut this apple and Create a Critter for the worm.  I think it has a teacher flare but it's fun!  I made all those other teacher cards for my daughter to take today - last day of school and guess what - YUP!  You got it- she left them in her Dad's truck!  So...I got 5 or 6 thank you teacher cards!  Oh well!!!  That's Life!  Anyway - I so hope you like my card! and...I hope the girls like it also!

Lunch?

Ok - the title seems simple enough!?!?!  I already used the boogers were friends quote - so.....I thought....hmmmmm..I know - Lunch?  In other words - do you want to go to lunch?  not I'm gonna pick you lunch!  My 11 year old said - that's just gross mom!  I thought it was cute as can be....but you know how sometimes you don't wanna give out your favs - well, this just might be one of those.   I have a 22 year old and a 25 year old - may just sent this to them!
Well, I'm getting off on a tangent - Our challenge at Digi's With Attitude is to use a child's image/card.  And as you would assume- this is one of Digi's images!  You've just gotta love her - I had a couple of major booger pickers so I can so relate.  This is fun and you just gotta check out our Digi's at Digi's With Attitude.  You know you wanna make a card like this.  Also, the tag/banner is from Cuttlebug - I found this plate they make - tags are not small but they are sure fun - I've been eluding the scrapping but this size tag would be perfect!  Now, they always have a freebie on site - Go check it out - take it and try this challenge!  You know you want to??  If not - go buy this image - they are very reasonable and easy to use!  Go check out the incredible mojo of these girls - I guarantee you - you will chuck when you check out their work on this challenge!

I love my Teacher

Well, 3 of my favorite digi image companies - Bugaboo, Meljens and Tiddlyinks .  I had one last teachers card to make for my daughter - tomorrow is her last day of the year.  No more school til August!  Yay - no more homework!  I'm doing 6th grade for the 3rd time.  You would think it would be a breeze by now - but NOPE!  So...I'm glad it's done!  Anyway- I combined all 3 companies digis and just love the way it came out with all it's implicity!  I thought about adding more but said - Juel - back away from the table!

A Gentlemen's Read

Well, I decided to make a young man/gentleman's Book marker.  Ok - guys don't always have to do the barbaric thing - they don't have to bend the corner of the page!  Let's try using a book markers other than  a napkin or piece of random paper!  let's be gentlemen, eh?  Anyway - I thought this mad hatter from Tiddlyinks was so cute - I printed another image but had him sitting there and thought - e's going on this page!  I used random scraps to make the book marker!  and cut the read out on my cricut from "a child's first year".  Real simple and I like it!

Christmas in May

I thought I'd do a simple card!  I know I said I'd keep up on my Christmas cards - but that died out in February!  I just got "burnt"!  So...at first, I thought- No thanks!  Then I said - Do it!  So....I bought a new digi because that makes it more fun and then made this simple card!  I had the flourish already cut and the Christmas Stack from DCWV is small enough to keep around all seasons!  So....I made a Christmas card in May - Yay me!  You can find the image here at Phindy's Images .  And don't forget to check out her Random Surprises!

Cowgirl Up! - A Birthday Invite

This is just for necessity - My daughter and I were trying to decide about her theme for her birthday - well, I was doing something for her group project and we used the wild west cartridge and we saw Cowgirl Up!  She said that's my theme for my party!  So, Madison really likes her stuff fairly simple so we used wood paper, a hat and her saying - I had to add the bling and she let me - It just so happened that this fit the More Than Favors Color Challenge - brown, beige, teal and pink!  I'm sure I'll find other challenges for it - but as of now - it'll do because I had to made a boat load of them - It's a slumber party and she wants 13 girls!  Well, they're sleeping outside in a large tent!  I'm ok as long as none of them sleep walks - she'll end up in the pool!  LOL!

Well, they said "Bling It On" over at the Lollipop Crafts Challenge and I thought - I can do bling - I printed my image quite some time ago and just never seemed to get around to coloring or using it!  So....this was perfect!  Of course, who does it remind you of - my sister and her infamous "tubbies".  This is the epitomy of my sis!  The bling and the tubby!  She likes to do everything to the "ninth" degree!  That's my sis!  I'm more of the simple - fly by the seat of my pants kinda of a gal!
Enough ramb;ing - this challenge of the week is "Bling it On".  Now you can do that in so many ways - All ya' gotta do is try!  Our ever so generous sponsor:

Give a Hoot!

I so love my CRICUT!  I am trying to use it at least once or twice a week for cards!  This is the silouhette from Give a Hoot cart.  I bought it from a friend and I've not used it much- it was one I wanted but now that I am actually using it - it's awesome - the leaves are from there and from my Stampin Up bird punch!  I used my Fiskars punch also!  Remember - I'm a punchaholic!!  i used a couple of rhinestones to be the "stopper" for this easel card!  I do hope you like it - It's simple and I wasn't sure of a sentiment - so....it didn't get one_ So There!  Ha! Ha!

Hi Cupcake!

I didn't realize how difficult this 3 embellishments was gonna be!  it seems that we're always trying to add more and more - the more the embellishments the better!  Whenever I get beat out in a challenge - the winner usually has a tremendous amount of embellishments!  Well, I thought I'd go simple - these bears are just too cute and I added 3 things - a flourish, a butterfly and the corner doohickey!  I don't think the negative out of the corner doohickey is number 4 - i stuck it on the sentiment.  I used some glitter glue on the cupcake frosting and I love the cherry and get a hold of that fork!  Anyway, I used a Stamp Fairy image for their challenge.  Their images are way to cute!  I love the simplicity!  They color quickly and are very forgiving for those of us who make "boo boos"!  Anyway- hope you like these guys!

Well, been a little looney to say the least this week - i thought I'd posted this card - I sent it to Lollipop but then dropped the ball!  I've had a loss in our family this week - my dear incredible aunt - we called her "Titi".  That's spanish for aunt.  She was/is an incredible woman and the good lord took her home this week!  She will be sorely missed.  We are preparing for her funeral and I've decided to take on pictures and making a little something for the girls - gotta be simple because i'm making 3!  and....I only have until tomorrow when we head down south - anyway- Life goes on and my challenge at Lollipop Crafts this week was my host - "Thank a Teacher".  I think they have a difficult job- yes, they get paid - but it is a difficult and incredibly important job!  They are forming/molding the future of our country!  Those children will be running this world one day!  We need them to be on their game!  So....Kudos to all you teachers out there!!  We do appreciate you!  We may not always show it - but THANKS!!

My card is a Robyn's Fetish image - They are our ever so generous sponsor this week - They have graciously offered:

PRIZE FOR WINNER: Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is happy to offer the winner of this challenge 5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 digital paper set of their choice.

We truly love working with her images - Now on to the challenge - Try to get it posted by Saturday evening - I'll be announcing the winner on Sunday!  It could be you and if you'd like Robyn has some freebies to get you started!  Don't Wait - I'm posting this late!!  Get going - show me what you got!!and .....say Thanks Teach!

Oh Joy!

This sentiment is perfect!  These ladies (I'm imagining) are my sister and I just getting out of the gym and we got on the scale and we lost a few lbs!  We're jumping for JOY!  Ok - well, my imagination is running a little crazy - I don't seem to lose any weight and I don't imagine I would jump like that if I did!  But- this is a Karen's Doodles image and she have some really fun images - some of my favs are the babies upside down - as a matter of fact- I need to break that out!  They are digis - so you know what that means - instant gratification!  We all love that - that is the wave of the generation - NOW!  Anyway - The challenge over there is BOLD and BRIGHT!  So, I hope this is bold and bright enough - I personally would never wear anything this bold or bright to the gym!  I'm about as plain jane as you can get to go to the gym - It ain't no fashion show! is my attitude!

Congrats Grad!

Well, actually - it's a Stampin up saying inside - the set is Heard from the Heart!  It says May all your Wishes Come True!  I thought I'd use some thing other than - Congratulations - that's the same ole same ole!  It works but let's venture off the beaten path - and besides - I didn't wanna dig up the Congrats that I know is in the back of the cabinet!  I used the Meljens owl along with a Cricut cut from A Child's First Year - Gosh - one of my top favs of all times!  Anyway - I used a trifold card (is that what that's called).  and put a tag inside and Bing Bang Boom!  I'm done!  pretty simple - but I hope you enjoy!!

Rough Reading

Well, funny story - my sister in law reads voraciously.  She's one tough cookie..rough around the edges - well, I was gonna make her a book marker and my brother said not one of those fairies - I said how about a female boxer?  He said Perfect!  But - I know my daughter who loves to use the punching bag may want her - we'll see - I can always make another - they are so simple - the most time is fussy cutting out my Kenny K downloads.  His images are all over the map - so....there's something for everyone and every occassion!  Go check them out - they also have a freebie every month for you to test drive! The challenge over at Kenny's is to use die cuts (my flourishes) and punches - (my border on the bottom).  Hope you like my book marker - She's gonna be given away soon!  I'm gonna' be making a few more - I've had a bunch of requests and the good thing is - they're simple!

Simply happy birthday

As you already know - I just love Simply Betty Stamps - there's something kinda' ghoulish, yet naughty about them - I was actually gonna use the bat in the stamp - but forgot - it's sitting on the counter!  Oh well, this is the crickety fence from "paperdoll dress up" cartridge for my cricut!  I thought it was perfect - I was lazy and didn't wanna get out the "haunt cartridge".  I just got a sizzix flourish die - LOVE IT!!!  I haven't bot anything sizzix for quite some time - i love my Spellbinders but hadn't found the right mix like this one - 3 dies and 4 flourishes!  Perfection!  Anyway- I colored her kinda snappy - stayed with the browns/yellow and oranges on the rest.  Always kinda fun to use a pop of color!  Love the neutrals!  I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed making it!

Best Friends Forever!

Ok - I just love these little guys!  I decided to go with the Emo Amber Alek sitting together peacefully!  You can find them here at Just Some Lines.  She has great images!  You will so love 'em!  She even has some freebies to get you hooked (I mean started)!  I was wondering what to use for the sentiment - I thought - duh????  best friends forever!  Seemed perfect and it would fit there perfectly - I used some Recollections animal print paper - I used some Petaloo flowers, EKSuccess punch, Stampin up punch, Martha Stewart Punch - As you can probably tell- I'm a punchaholic!  We have a stampin up club monthly - and I've purchased almost every punch!  I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I love the mute colors and come to think of it - it's monochromatic, eh??  Well, I so hope you like this card.  Now grab a freebie to start or go purchase this one and get started!  You will have so much fun with them!!  They are perfect for every challenge out there!!  Have Fun!!
