Sympathy Card

With Sympathy - I was thinking yesterday I need to make more of these - unfortunately, well, Mom called last night and a friend of hers passed.  Shucks!  So....here I go - I tried to do it CAS - not sure how CAS it is - but I am happy with the subtle colors and the pop of the turquoise!  This is a digi doodle shop image that i printed some time ago and cut it with the out of the box technique but just hadn't used it!  I added some lace and a rhinestone and yup - I would consider this CAS!

Let It Snow!

I just love love Paper Pretties.  Is this guy too fun!  In the image he's holding a sign that says Merci - but I cut that off and used it with the snow falling behind him!  I fussy cut the image and placed it behind the negative from a nestie and the DCWV polka dots behind!  The paper and greeting is DCWV.  The snowflakes are from my beloved cricut!  Too fun!  Love this card and love these images!

With Sympathy

Well, With Sympathy!!  hits home big time this time!  I absolutely love my clients!  Well, one of my favs - 86 years old Mr. B passes away the night before!  He was my lunch buddy!  He would bring me roses and take me to lunch regularly.  I live in a small town and it's not unusual to get very close to your clients.  I'm a financial advisor and become very close to my clients.  Anyway, this card is a Creative Need image and I used a couple of nesties and Stampin up punches.  Oh - I paper pieced the flowers - love it!  I hope you do too...but most of all....  This one is for you Mr. B - you will be greatly missed.  Tell my daddy I love him!

 Digi Doodle Shop

$10  Gift certificate!!
Digi Doodle Shop is the results of a mother and daughter’s love for the arts and crafts.  It was started a little over 3 years ago with a little more than 100 stamps, and has since then grown to almost 500 stamps.  Joy (the mother of this team) designs realistic images, while Judy (aka/daughter) loves the “fun side of life”, and create images with a cartoon flair.  Having these two complimenting styles have enabled
Digi Doodle Shop to offer a wide variety of stamps.

It is a real honor and pleasure to sponsor this challenge, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing creations.  We thank the design team for their incredible creations, and wish all the participants the very best of luck in this challenge.

Thank you so much for having us, and again the very best of luck to all of you.
Sincerely,
Judy and Joy

 Winners choice of 4 IMAGES!!

Silent Night

This is this week's challenge from Lollipop Crafts Challenge Blog!  Our ever so generous sponsor is Stitchy Stamps and the challenge is "Happy Holidays".  I thought I'd take a different route this time.  I used the silouhette.  Don't you just love her??   I thought the sentiment from the DCWV Sticker pack of "Silent Night" fit so well.  It's a silouhette which is understated and so is the title!  Don't forget the week will fly by before you know it!  So...come have fun with us and you could win some images from Stitchy Bear Stamps!  You have to admit this is wonderful!  Now go check out the rest of the design team at Lollipop Crafts Challenge Blog!  They are so rockin' it this week!!  and remember our sponsor -

Prize:  $10 gift certificate to the Stitchy Bear store.

A little about Stitchy Bear:

"Hi my name is Stitchy and I am Co-Owner of Stitchy Bear Stamps. We started this store on April 1st, No fooling haha..I live in upstate New York with my husband and two TEENAGE adults haha. I do say that loosely as they think they run the show here, NOT...

I've been creating stamps for less than a year now and I am totally addicted to the craft..I started about 4 years ago making digital scraps and I knew there were much more out there, so a friend of mine introduced me to digital stamps...and the rest they say is history...I look forward to seeing all the beautiful creations come through...good luck everyone... stitchy xoxox"

Dream

Kenny K has a challenge this week - Texture!

Honest opinion - birthday card for a 37 year old guy - What should I say inside!?!?!?  I need help figuring it out!

Anyway, this is Kenny K image - love her Mae Western is what I believe she's called.  I used a couple different options for texture - the tuille behind Mae, the staples and the brads!

That's it - simple but I am happy with it!
