Naughty or Nice - Grinchy Style!

Isn't this guy just gorjuss - well - naughty or nice - i'm thinking naughty but in a nice way!!!  The best looking guys are usually the bad boys!!  I did him in Grinchy Green colors for the Burtonesque Dolls Challenge!  I colored with my copics - and added a tree behind him - but you could see in his hand - it must be a branch he ripped off the tree - Definitely naughty!!  Well, this one was fun!!  Christmas with a Grinchy Twist!!  Thanks again for stopping by - btw - Madison (my 11 year old) says defnitely - naughty!  Let's hope she stays away from the naughty boys!!!  I'm so not looking forward to going through those years again - yikes!!!

Shopping!!!

Too fun!! This is so me!!  I work in the financial industry and I hear this kinda' stuff!!  I am a shopper - did the black friday thing and the "online" thing on Thanksgiving.  This is a Bugaboo stamp - I made up the sentiment, cut her out and colored her with my Copics -- just got set D of the Ciao.  I'm now gonna try and fill in a little at a time.  I so love these markers!  Too much fun!!  I will be submitting this card in a couple challenges - Bugaboo - Shopping and the Sketch Spotlight!

The Greeting Farm - Club Anya

This didn't start out as an easel card.  I tried using scraps and it ended up bigger than an A2 card.  The frame is the negative of the nestie I cut for another project.  The blue polka dot has a nestie cut out of it!  The blue on the bottom is scraps, etc etc.  The ribbon - leftover piece from a bow!  Funny but I just love the way it came out - looks totally Americana - purely by accident - but loving it!!!  Thanks for coming by - I just love this greeting farm stamp - my daughter picked it out - i'm sure you'll be seeing one of her creations before long.  She's been working (well more like we) on her history homework all day!  The teacher said get these flash cards done by Monday or you'll get detention and...."Have a nice Thanksgiving everyone!"  My daughter got the biggest giggle out of that one!!  Hmmmmm....

Phindy's Challenge - It's Metal Time!

This so reminded me of my mom and dad.  I lost my dad 3 years ago and it's a bittersweet memory because Dad's gone!  Holidays are the hardest - but then I wear pop's old jammies or drink out of his grumpy cup and I'm good!!  Anyway - it was all about the metal today - so I added the charm - it doesn't show in the photo - it says "bliss". My mom and dad were married over 55 years!!  Fun stuff!!  I did love coloring this card - Thanks for listening to me ramble about Pop and thanks for stopping by!!!

Flower Power with I {heart} 2 Stamp Delightful Digi Challenge!

Ok -I'm getting better at adding my sentiment on the digi.  I just love this little girl/ladybug!!  I think she's adorable.  I think my coloring was not so bad!!  I used the delightful digi and some DCWV paper (cut up).  Of course, my cricut for the mat.  I added a little bling - you can never have too many flowers!!! (or is that shoes?)  Anyway - I like my little girl and it'll be a fun one to give away!!!I {heart} 2 Stamp sketch was great - of course, she always uses hearts and i took it to the flower power!!!

I just love this little bear!  My card base is green - looks kinda' blue - but it's green! Anyway - the ticket is so cute - it comes in a large sheet- looks cute!!  Love the clearance ribbon!  I used MS punch and my nesties for the digi and mat!  My copis are the usual for coloring - Too fun!!  Love love love it!!

Meljens Buttons 'N Bows!

Ok - Madison is at it again - she wanted to "color" tonight- btw - that's my 11 year old!  So - here is some of her work - I guess a more contemporary xmas card.  She colored with copics -the heart from the digi was replaced with a real heart button - the bow is from the Michaels $1 ribbon - felt!  Too fun!  I think she did great - but I'm the mama!  Hope you like it - leave a comment - she just loves it!  Thanks so much!!  Having so much with my girl!

Lil lolita Boutique Sketch Challenge

I just love this girl!!!!  She's so retro!!  I love coloring her in the sixty colors!!  It's funny - I think this is my daughter's favorite digi!!  The sketch was simple and I modified it (artists perogative) to accomodate my sixties feel!!  I colored her with my copics - used my DCWV paper and a couple greetings!!  Loving her!!  Thanks for the challenge- love the digis!

Sports Challenge at Digis with Attitude!

I actually really liked coloring this girl with the attitude!!  I had mixed feelings - it'll be fun to send this one out!!  I'll have to find just the right occassion!!  Anyway - thanks for the opportunity - i like the "sports" twist!  We are a sports household - mostly soccer and hockey - this is outside my box!  A great change also right now from the xmas cards!  and ..... tomorrow black friday!!

Imagine Baby Blue!

Totally Imagine - I did use a SU stamp for the sentiment!!  I love this blue card - I'm thinking it qualified for blue card!  Anyway- I like the baby colors.  I don't have hardly anybody having babies but i thought it would be great in my xmas giveaway bags - i'm going to try to mix it up - and depending on the age of the recipient.  I am really starting to enjoy my imagine - it's a very simple process - I can see where you can crank out multiples!!

Cricut Cardz challenge#52

This was so different than what we've probably all been doing - getting back to the basics!!  I tried using some traditional and non traditional colors!!  This was fun - all cricut - cut the sign to put the sentiment from Christmas and Winter Frolic were the only carts!!  Some ribbon and done!  There is a bit of bling on my mat - it's hard to tell on the photo.  Thanks again for popping in!

Tiddlyinks Xmas!!

This was so fun to make - My daughter did the coloring - I put it together - it's copics and flock and glitter!!  The ribbon is from the dollar bin!!  The paper is DCWV and the cut is Creative Memories!  I so thought my daughter did a great job - she's 11 and so loving my copics!!  Thanks for coming by!!!

Peachy Keen and Sparkle Challenge

I have so been neglecting my cricut....so when I saw Emma do a peachy keen stamp with her cricut - I jumped on the band wagon.  I love my Peachy Keen Stamps.  I just don't have enough .... as a matter of fact...I just don't have enough of the Sparkle stamps, etc etc.  It's kinda like shoes for most - you just can't have too many!!  Anyway - I made this little beaver - my animal stamps weren't big enough so I improvised (isn't that what life's all about?).  I used my retro faces and I think he came out cute as can be!!  I threw in a My Pink Stamper sentiment and I was pretty much done!!  Anyway - thanks for stopping by -

Burtonesque Dolls/Simply Betty Sketch Challenge

This was originally what I was using for Halloween - I decided why couldn't I adapt her for the holidays- I did cover up the skull at her neckline with a rhinestone and added a more festive lavender and of course, some bling and a holiday sentiment!!!  Funny how you can change it up and make the season come alive through art!!  Fun stuff!!  Thanks for the sketch challenge!!

Tickled Pink Stamp Sketch and Bugaboo Challenge

Just absolutely love this skier - he actually reminds me of my nephew Chase!  I loved coloring him - cutting him out with my hobby knife!!  Man, am I getting good with that knife.  I added a bit of bling and used my new EK success stamp for the bottom.  The top is a MS punch!  paper as usual is DCWV and so are the letters!  This topper/card has a set of Christmas cards to give away to a friend!  I'm going to do at least a dozen of these to give away - fun stuff!!

LPSC#95 and Lollipop Christmas!!

This is such a twist on Christmas - I believe it was meant for a birthday or something - I Christmafied it and added a bit of bling with my Cricut cut snowflakes!!  I used scraps from other projects and a $1 sentiment stamp from Michaels and I believe it came out cute as can be.  It sure seems like I'm popping everything up!!  I better put popdots on my list for Friday!!  And, yes I am one of those crazy black Friday shoppers!  My sister and I get out there with the other loons and shop for 14 or 15 hours!!  I love Christmas -

Digital Delights and 2 Sisters - It's Cold Outside = Snowflakes!!

Well - I thought I'd combine my challenges again!!  I just love this little digi from Digital Delights!!  It's a little girl just waiting - she's bundled up waiting on a present!!  She was a simple digi to color - quick!!  Sometimes the instant gratification of digi and done quickly really appeals!!  I work full time and have a lot of commitments - my obsession has to be squeezed in - in the evenings!!  She was fun to color and I've already got someone in mind for her!!  Thanks for stopping by and as always - thanks for keeping it interesting -

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge- Vellum and Designed 2 Delight!

This was a fun card and I'm starting to get smart about my challenges and try to combine them.  CRAFT asked us to use vellum - well - the background is vellum that has been cuddlebugged with swirls!  I colored the penguin with my copics, put some flock on his belly and glitter on his hat!!  I think he is just too cute!!  I am going to be packaging up a lot of my cards as gifts.  I saw it on My Pink Stamper today - and have been doing it but I think I'll do it her way!

Phindy's Place Challenge Sketch #31

This was a really fun challenge and digi.  I love this guy - I colored him with copics - added a little sentiment with my computer - the fish are stickers!  I jut loved this guy and he so makes me think of the newly retired guy trying to catch up on his fishing/relaxing.  It was a nice break from all the Christmas / Thanksgiving cards I've been making.  Anyway, thanks for the challenge and thanks for making such a great digi over at Phindy's Place!!!  Just ordered another one - an old couple dancing - stay tuned!

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge- Holiday!

Ok- well, personally - I have fallen in love with the Whoopsi Daisy line of digis!  She has such detail - a great value and just fun!!  This is my Christmas fairy - quite the untraditional colors but fun!  It's fun to step outside the box!  Well, it's Copics for coloring $paper is K and Company and ribbon - $1 bin at Michaels!  She is just too cute!!  A special shout out to my buddy - Jessica!!!  Hey girl - thanks!

A Christmas Gift! - an Imagine Layout! My Creative Time Challenge

The challenge was a gift made with the imagine machine..  I made the layout with my imagine.  I give my sister a year of scrapbooking for her Christmas present.  One child, one year!  Nice gift, huh??  I love having my "influence" on their books.  And....believe it or not - they fight over whose turn it is to get it done!!  So, not really the traditional gift - but a good gift I believe.  My sister enjoys it and she's difficult to buy for - so it's a lot of work but it's fun and I don't have to figure out what to buy her!  Anyway - thanks for stopping by - Take care and have fun!!!  It's all about the fun!

Cricut Cards Challenge #50

This was the Thanksgiving challenge at Cricut Cardz!  Well - the blue was the toughie.  We had to use blue, brown, orange, yellow and white- the white was the tiny pearly squares.  In hindsight - i think i should've done the blue as a tiny accent!  Well, it is what it is!  I'm so not the type to "tear it up".  I think we should always follow our original flow of "mojo" or you interrupt the "creative channel".....Well, it was fun to create - this will be my last Thanksgiving card.  I already got out most of mine the rest go out tomorrow - Help me Mr. Postman!!! Get them there on time - please!!!!

Card Sketch Challenge - and...Tuesday Throwdown!

Well, for the first time I decided to combine challenges!!  I thought why not do the "two bird thingy".  Anyway - I colored my fairy digi from Whoopsi Diasy.  I just love her digis - they are very detailed which of course means a bit tedious also but - just love her stuff!!  I flipped the sketch and added the button and bow for the Tuesday Throwdown - I just absolutely love this way this girl came out!!  The lattice work is from the EK success punch - paper is DCWV and ribbon and bow - random!!  Thanks for stopping by and love the comments - as we all do!!

SK112010 PCP - Sketch Challenge

Well, I decided to pull out a borrowed machine.  I have not done a stitch in years so I decided to borrow a machine and see if I want to buy a new one.  I enjoyed sewing and think I will definitely find a home for it in my craft room.  Anyway - thanks for pushing me!!!!

Fantabulous Cricut Blog Challenge - Get Well!!!

Ok - that's it!! Tomorrow I'm gonna get a white box or something to take my photos - I'm being lazy and using my Blackberry!!  Anyway - my daughter broke her arm right when school started this year.  She went head first over her bike while she was at the coast.  She told me she landed in someone's flower bed and ate half their flowers!!  She was a great sport and a real trooper- she had broken it in 2 places.  I was real proud of her.  Anyway - I did this page for the couple of pictures I got via cell phone from my sister.  Thanks for stopping by and just love my cricut -----and....just love the challenges!!! Bring it on FCCB!

Meljen's Challenge #34 - Sparkle and Shine

This was "sparkle and shine".  Everyone loves the sock monkey - well this sock monkey is a modern sock monkey with his chambray legs and red shirt.  Of  course, I stayed with the traditional "monkey colors on his skin".  This was fun - I used chipboard from DCWV (stashed back in the cupboard).  I haven't used that stuff in such a long time.  I used my nesties - my cricut - I cut his hat - put some major glitter glue on it and some Irock bling!!  I love sock monkeys!!  This one is for you Donna!

TLC Creations Thanksgiving Pilgrim Puffs!

Ok - I made a couple versions of these "Pilgrim Puffs"  First one is "puffed" and the second is more of a cotton ball puff!!  They were fun to do - the first I was lucky enough to have it featured on Crafters Digital Art Center- It's a great place to get challenges and digi freebie challenges!!  check it out!!  Anyway - the second I used the "out of the box technique" - that was fun!!  Love it - thanks for the challenge

Spotlight Challenge- STVSKSP2

Love this card - I just love this little girl laying on the couch - just not feeling well..  I did a loose interpretation of the sketch - I think that's an artist's option.  Anyway - colored her with my copics (of course) and used my cricut to cut the scalloped circle and the border - a few scraps and a bow and i'm done!!  thanks for the challenge - now I'm hooked on your blog!!  I thought it would be fun to combine my stamping and coloring along with my number one love - my cricut!!

My Pink Stamper's Imagine Challenge!

I actually made this card before I saw the challenge - i've been embrassing my imagine - i'm such a creature of habit - having fun learning the machine.  I had this sticker from my dcwv stack and thought - why not make a tag - tags seem to be the in thing!  I was going to change up the deer but decided I like it for a girl's wish list!!  So, here it is - thanks for stopping by!!!  No Copics, can you believe it!?!?!

Tuesday Morning Sketch - Cupcakes!

This was a fun digi to color - it's from Meljen's designs.  Her designs are very whimsical.  The stamp and the modern label punch is from Stampin Up.  The border punch is Fiskars.  and...the ribbon - $dollar bin!  Notice a trend here - I love the $1 bin at Michaels and Joanns.  We are getting a Hobby Lobby here in Central California (the first one in California).  Yippee!!  Another option!!! I'm excited.  Scrapbook stores don't make it around here.  It's hard to compete with the internet and coupons! Inside says Have a sweet birthday.  Anyway, thanks again for another fun challenge!

Stamping with the Dragon Challenge- Christmas!

The challenge was a Christmas card - also - they asked us to use one of their digis!  Well, they have some awesome digis so I purchased one and off I went - I love their dragon digis - they're so cute!!  Well- I combined this digi with a digi from tiddlyinks - I thought it went well with this girl!  I added some designer paper from Cloud 9 Harvest Holiday matstack.  and a ribbon.  I am so in love with my copics - love the instant gratification of digis!!  Fun Stuff!!

Phindy's Almost Christmas Challenge

Talk about trational!!!  I love this digi from Phindy - it's so "traditional"  Of course, being homemade makes it even more of a throw back!!  Did they handmake cards back in the day or did they even make cards!?!?!?  Anyway - this was fun stuff - I used a bunch of scraps along with my digi and a mat from DCWV paper - my Creative Memories oval cutter and a $1 stamp from Michaels bin!  A little glitter and bling and it's ready - right on - love Phindy's digis - good job!

LPSC #94

I thought this was the cutest little digi - the challenge was to use die cuts!!  I used my cuttlebug with a die folder and my nestibilities to make the picture and the matting.  I used a little versamark on my embossing to make it stand out - this was all scraps for the card!!  Fun to use what you have in your stash - man do I have a lotta "scraps!"  I'm sure I'm not alone in that one.  Why is it that we paper lovers can't part with even the tiniest of scraps!!   It's just nuts!!

I love 2 stamp! Sketch Challenge

This was a really fun challenge- I love this little girl from designed 2 delight!  She's simple and cute- I thought i'd add the sentiment remember to remind us to remember what christmas is really about!  I colored her with my copics - added a random rub on and paper from dcwv!  Thanks so much for the time you've taken to stop by and if you feel up to it - leave a comment!

Sketch Challenge at Catch the Bug!

Sketch Challenge at "Catch the Bug" - couldn't resist just one more card with this ole' guy!!  I'm just tickled everytime I see him - I colored him with my Copics, added a bit of bling and this paper is probably 7 years old from Creative memories - anyway - just love this guy - inside says "Growing up is Optional".  Thanks for coming by - I'm on a roll with these birthday cards for older people - in my business - most of my clients are older and they enjoy the boxes of funny/cute cards I give as gifts!

Something Manly - Digi Doodle Shop

I've been doing so many Christmas Cards - need to get some "manly" cards done - love the simplicity of this one - gotta keep it simple or the guys just don't "feel it".  Anyway - thanks for the opportunity - love what i'm doing!!

Scrappin 5 Little Cupcakes Challenge -blue/black n 1 other color!

Ok - I started to do a two'fer - it didn't work out - didn't look at my layout challenge correctly - so...it's all cool - I just love this guy!!!  I want more "guy/boy" cards and I believe this fits the bill!!  I used a "greeting farm" digi - colored him with my copics - used black, blue and chose shades of brown for my third color.  I used Martha Stewart border punch and some DCWV paper!  Fun!  I so like the way he turned out!!  You know sometimes they just make you happy and sometimes - they make you happy!!!  Thanks for coming by!!

Peachy Keen Mini Challenge - a Sketch

This was a fun challenge - combined - all kinds of stuff - "a sketch from Peachy", my cuttlebug, my cricut - Paperdoll dress up, my Copics, A peachy keen face (laughy taffy), and my Creative memories shape cutter for the star!  My paper is DCWV - what fun!!  It was simple - came right to me - thanks for stopping by - just love these faces - so want to get some more- so many supplies - so little time (sound familiar?)

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge

Such a simple card - the digi from Whoopsi Daisy came out so cute - I wrapped it with a saying and voila!!  I sewed a little purple button to pick up on the purple in her pants - I'm loving - I'm new to Whoopsi Daisy digis but will be familiar in no time - love her drawing!!

Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge - A Pink Christmas!

This was a fun challenge - PINK!  I do like pink - It's always fun to use an alternative color on a season.  It's green and red for traditional - but this digi is anything but traditional!!!!  Fun!!  I did cuttlebug the background and ink it up to add another pink dimension.  The paper - DCWV - and SU punches!!  Thanks for stopping by - another Christmas card - bam!

CC Design - Hot Cocoa - Warm Wishes

This was a sketch challenge on PCP - I have a loose interpretation of the sketch - love this little girl - combined some MS punches, SU punches and a Cricut swirl from Cindy Loo cartridge - I love using all my "stuff" now if I could've gotten my imagine in there - it would've been perfect!

Sketch Challenge - PCP SK111310

Ok - Let's give a cheer to Digi Doodle Shop for creating this digi.  There's always a story - when my son was around 2 - he put on his dad's cowboy boots and naked as a jaybird came out with nothing but a smile on - well, you know i took a picture - problem was it was from the front so of course, i put a little sticker over the private parts!!  This so reminded me of him!!  I colored it with my copics, inked it with stamping up, cut it with Creative memories and added a little Cricut cut with the "spur" up as an embellishment - oh and of course a bit of bling!!  Inside it says "memories".  This will be going to my son with a sentiment - miss your butt!
